Acts as part of a multidisciplinary team with a receptionist  role and performs clerical duties including data entry as related to ANSOS and OMNI server; maintains statistical information for various patient care areas within the Health Services/ServiceDelivery Units.



- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent educational preparation
- Proficient computer and keyboarding skills required



- Previous Unit Clerk experience preferred
- Related experience an asset
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
- Demonstrates tact, diplomacy, and discretion in matters related to patients, staff, and hospital affairs,
- Demonstrates compliance with confidentiality requirements
- Demonstrates a positive attitude and the willingness to work effectively individually and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a consistent level of productivity and efficiency
- Ability to perform responsibilities in a courteous and customer focused manner
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
- Embodies the values of TEGH
- Must be prepared to work in all areas of the Surgery Health Service
- Good work and attendance record required
