Job Number: J1122-1757 Requisition #: RXDPD2209 Job Category: Pharmacy Department: Pharmacy Job Type: Temporary Full Time Standard Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week Open Positions: 2 Overview Responsible for carrying out functions of a technical and clerical nature pertaining to drug distribution, inventory control, intravenous admixture preparation and other components of pharmacy practice as outlined by National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA) and / or the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) for pharmacy technicians, and when appropriate under the direction of a Pharmacist. Education - Enrolled or completed in an accredited Community College Pharmacy Technician diploma. program. Alternatively, a graduate from an accredited College Pharmacy Assistant program. - Knowledge of NAPRA /Aseptic technique. - Proof of continuing education participation.
